I'm planning of either doing a cross country trip in the summer with a rental or just taking my 2001 XJ. Right now I'm leaning towards taking my xj. Does anyone know if AAA road side assistance cover in multiple states? Or another company that's does that? I don't want to get stranded which I hope I don't.

Tried calling AAA and asking?
Seems to make more sense than asking here.

Yes, it covers every state in the US, however depending on you membership there may be a restriction on the mileage of the tow (beyond which you will have to pay for additional mileage).

Another couple things to remember...AAA also gives discounts on things like hotel rooms, handy when you're on the road for a while. You can also get maps, and travel booklets from them. You can also deal with your vehicle registration through them, instead of going to the DMV. I've had a membership for years, worth every penny...

And you can buy tickets to a lot of places like amusement parks,That alone is nice not having to wait in a ticket line.
