I am curious how they attach. Today I installed a pair of chrome hooks using the nut strips for a hitch (but I don't want or have a hitch). Had to add a hole an nut to the strip because the hook holes are closer than the nut strip and mounting holes. Hooks are tucked a bit forward of the rear bumper. Maybe a little more than I remember the factory hook on the left side.

What you tell me if you have the real deal?
