I don't get this in my XJ. Its stock and no one gives a cap about it.

But...

When I'm out in the Samurai, It gets molested everywhere. I'll come out of a store and there is always someone either under it looking, leaning inside it, bending down beside it looking. I just ask them what they are doing and can I help them. Its never been a problem. I just say "well I gotta go" to keep from getting my head talked off about it. There isn't anything worth taking that someone can get easily in or on it. This doesn't bother me, guess I'm used to it.

Nothing like that, but whenever I take it in to a shop the mechanics are all over me(I have a regular mechanic who does anything major, but the exhaust, tire and alignment guys are all over it). Telling me how clean it is, how nice the lift setup is(my buddy who helped me has been putting lifts in trucks since he was 14 so my 2" lift with new springs was a cake setup for him) Asking me if I've ever had death wobble or vibration issues (no to both) and in general being amazed that there is a '96 in Northern MN/WI that is this clean with all the salt we use up here. Makes me proud if I might say so myself!

Depends.. this woman that was looking inside it didint look like any harm.
And besides there's usually nothing to take since I have no key to the doors except a crappy cb radio and a stereo that won't play cd's and a beat up tool box with crap tools in it.

Never had anyone touch it that I know of. Probably because it is stock.

People like to tap the stock wheels on my dads stock 2004 Yukon XL. Not sure why.

I have a habit of when I see a lifted vehicle I see if they did a crappy job or if it is something I should watch out for when I'm with my family... ALOT of rednecks doing unsafe lifting in these parts(using thin tubing and bailing wire)... And second I want to see if it is actually four wheel drive... Alot of lifted non four wheel drives also... No touchy though...

that is weird, I dont know how many people have touched my tires. I have stupid Cepeck crushers and they do look pretty odd.
one day at work I came outside to see a guy laying under my jeep parked int he street. I asked him what he was looking for and he wanted to see if I had a SYE with so much lift lol.

Not that I know of but if they did I wouldnt care. I run it threw the woods so what are fingers going to do to it. I wouldnt want someone getting inside of it unless they were a naked hot chick.

Haha I'm a major Jeep Perv by the looks of it - whenever I see any Cherokee, any Jeep, any nice looking truck or 4x4, I always feel a need to touch the tires - something I didn't actually realize until I read this thread and thought about it LOL
