You will need to address driveshaft vibes when installing a 4.5" lift. A SYE of course is the best method but, a very acceptable alternate route is installing a transfer case cross member lowering kit. My Rusty's 4.5" lift came with a 1" TC CM drop kit.

I've got a R.E. 4.5" and run a 3/4" t-case drop with 6° shims out back to raise the pinion. As far as i can tell there is no vibes, but every xj is different.

Yes you need a limited slip yoke, they are called a SYE Adapter.

I just installed the Rough Country 4.5 inch lift (full leaf packs) and it came with a transfer Case drop (1 inch). I have no issues with vibes or Death Wobble.
