Did you know a cheap diesel XJ in Estonia costs 5000USD? Although they are pretty common.

i wish i had the ad number, There was A 89' Xj here a while back ago. that had an original factory build diesel. Was a custom build from the factory. it sold for like $5000 it was sweet.

Definitely not saying it's cheaper, but not exorbitant for what it is. Plus little diesels are a blast to own. Great on gas, and just all-around cool.

Wonder if you could find out who makes the motor? Jeep use to use Rnolt or some crazy name like that. Should be able to get a complete swap from Jeep. Wouldn't be cheep. And take some time for shipping. But there also has to be aftermarket support over by you. Right? Please give all info you can. Hate driving my POS Jetta to save $ and only getting 28 MPGs.
Yes, it's a VM motori 425 OHV
Pretty bulletproof, only have to change the head gasket every 200k or so.
