Does any body wanna show me some pics of Better storage places? Like I have a 2000 xj and I really don't like the storage bin inside the center council cause it has all those stupid slots for CDs I don't even use CDs is there a way I can just replace the bin for one with storage spots? or am I gunna have to make one myself?

I know this is an older pic, but how are you or anyone else getting a fullsize wheel and tire to fit where the old dohnut used to go? I tried removing the bracket at the bottom to make more room for it, but no go. Tired of mine laying down in the back for now and taking up space so any hints/tips on this would be great.
Probably something simple that is going to make me feel stupid, haha, but had to ask.
pic didn't come with the quote. The one I'm referring to is in post #4

I used an old style battery terminal to extend the mounting screw. No pics but it worked. You just have to macgyver it a lil. You wont fit much larger than a 30 back there. I had a 30 mounted and it was tight.

Also, here's my rear cubby sub install. I wanted it to look as close to a factory option as possible. I have a little more fit-n-finish tweaking I want to do, but for a first run, this turned out pretty good.

It's funny you mention "those stupid slots". My 98 has slots designed for cassettes. I haven't had a cassette tape since about 1990. Anyway, it turns out that those slots worked out perfect for me. I'm an IT consultant, and the Western Digital MyPassport 1.5TB portable hard drives fit perfect in there!! I use them for backing up data at all of my clients' offices, so it's kinda cool to me that I have enough storage for 9 of those drives, or 13.5 terabytes of storage!!

A pic would be great. I tried turning mine around, but didn't have any luck.
