So I'm traveling from Richmond, VA to So Cal around the beginning of September. I just purchased a 2000 XJ limited with 92k on her. My dad test drove her for me and he said she runs perfect everywhere, country roads and the highway. Anyways, I'm coming home the 21st from Airborne school at Fort Benning, Georgia, so I'll have about a week or two to prepare her for the trip.

Any advice on what to bring with me for maintenance. And what maintenance i should perform before I leave. I've read about some overheating problems, should i worry about that?
