CPS really??

How many of you guys have had a no fire issue and it actually turned out to be the CPS?? Just curious, It seems like everytime someone has a problem with fire everyone insist it's the cps... Are they really that prone to failure?

I ask because I've owned multiple xjs for the last 20+ years and have never had an issue with one... Worked in the service department of a jeep dealership for years and never had one come in with the cps as the issue...

So have I just been that lucky or has the cps become the generic answer to firing questions?

They are very problematic on many vehicles, but more prominent on Chrysler products. Hall sensors don't last forever.
