Considering parting out 96 xj Classic..Any opinions?
I am looking at buying this 96 XJ Classic for $850. One reason is because I would like the tires, the seats and some electrical parts. I would them tear down to part out on here and CL but don't know if it would be worth it. Any opinions on what this stuff is worth?
It is a 4.0L with 155,000 and runs good. The tranny, axles, glass, hood, rear hatch, right fender, grill, lights, and everything looks good.
The only problems are the dents in the rear passenger door, driver door and left fender.

i'd say you'd end up making back the money you spent and maybe alil extra but would take time, dont know if it would be worth it... but at least you'd get the parts you need out of it

Thanks guys...After thinking about it more I decided to not put in the time. I am going to the yard next weekend and seeing what I can get from there and waiting on tires until I do the lift.
