cherokee vs liberty
this is why my wife's liberty can go places my cherokee cannot
hers has a lift already and larger tires. mine is stock. this is why i had to call her to pull my cherokee out when it was high centered
at least we are a jeep family

i am going to put my 2" lift on today so that'll make it closer to even but i am going ot have to go 3" or higher to beat her. hers has all the junk on it, skid plates, locker, brush guard, and tall tires. its going to take me a while to make my cherokee taller then hers but at least mine is a jeep and not a chrysler. mine still has the amc emblems on it

i bought and installed hte lift on the libby but it came with all the other stuff on it form the factory.
i know it will take tons to make a cherokee taller then a liberty because the cabin is shaped differrently. the liberty is naturally taller whereas the cherokee is more of a wagon. i noticed i have the same graound clearance she has with only two inches of lift.
they should both be great vehicles for off roading, from what i have read, the liberty does as well as the wranglers on the trail. i think its cause of the shorter wheel base but its ok. the only off road in south texas is driving through the sand.
hers is more of a mall crawler because its only off road has been driving throug hthe yard to back upto the front door to drop off stuff. she actually bought it for me when my grand cherokee got totalled two years ago but i don't really like the v6 engine so i let her take it over and i got hte cherokee
