Cherokee V-6
I'm looking at a 99 Cherokee Classic with the V-6. 204k miles. I know the 4 liter is bullet proof. Can anyone offer any insight into the durability of the V-6. It's for my 16 year old daughter. Thanks for your help. Vince

It's actually an inline 6, not a V6, and they're tough as nails. I've got 200K on mine and it runs great. There are people on here with over 300K on their stock motors. The motor will outlast the body, which is known to rust away.

This look like a v6?
Lol, as other people have said its a I6.
Its a good motor, and if taken care of will go past 420,000 (highest Ive seen on here and still going AFAIK)
They will definately outlast the body.
The Aw4 is a good trans too and will last about as long as the motor.
