Default Cherokee Accidents Thread

I looked around the forum and didn't see any strictly accident threads so I figured I would try to get one going. Post your accident here pictures would be amazing and tell us the story I will start it off.

This was my beautiful 2 door 5sp 1997 cherokee sport a couple minutes after the accident. I miss her so much she was my DD just had a cold air intake and exhaust she got decent gas mileage and purred.

It was the day after a small snow here in pennsylvania and I was driving to work. I didn't have it in 4 high or anything and I was coming up to dead mans curve. I shifted down and I think when it hit gears it made the backend go and I started to stray into the other lane. A mini van was coming the other way and clipped my side, airbags went off and such I did a 180 and came to a stop. The minivan went up a small bank and struck a turning arrow sign. I get out only to see one of my better friends' dad waving to me asking if I was ok. It was his first accident ever he is around 50. Now everytime I see that friend he tells me I tried to kill his father lol
I sold the motor, tranny, the whole front clip, anything that was good, didn't have the present of mine to keep the t-case. I will miss her <3

Failure to yield right of way. I was 16 and dumb, this is why texting and driving is bad. I learned from my mistakes though.

and the civic that hit me

My cherokee was totaled, rear end was gone and the unibody was bent but i did get $50 bucks for it. I took a bunch of stuff off it so it was basically just the body and some interior parts.

ouch man i was able to get mine on a tow dolly and get like 280 bucks in scrap also. Bought it for 3200 with 86000 miles on it. 600 for motor and trans 100 for tires and 300 for scrap so i didn't end up getting the shaft too terribly

haha nice, yea that was the most important thing. I didn't care about the jeep, I couldnt open my drivers side door. So I like jumped the center console and ran out to make sure he was ok. I would never want to hurt anyone I would feel so terrible. I drive so much safer now

My jeep had an accident on my Dad's garage floor. It was leaking power steering fluid. Have to get a new hose for it.

flipped my cherokee over onto its roof only minutes after my dad had removed it from the insurance, fml, and neglected to tell me as i left for work that rainy day. i didn't get a cent for it but theres a pic of it in my album which is after i pushed the roof out with a highlift jack.
