I'm looking into getting a cb soon and I know nothing about them. So Im wondering what's a good setup for the money?

I used a midland 75-822 with a hustler whip roof antena and powered it thrugh the cig lighter.. I liked the ability to take the radio mobile when out of the jeep then plug it back in and have a stronger signal when in the jeep.. I was also a Events Coordinator for a local club to me for a few years so having communication outside the jeep was important.. There are better setups out there using a mounted in cb and firestik attena atached to a rear tail light.. That setup is also the most popular.. If you don't need anything special go to radio shack or walmart or even a truck stop and get a 40ch cb and firestik antenna plus mounting hardware be done with it.. 40-60 bucks for a cb is all you need for trail ridding..
