The Carnage.
As some of you know I had my rear window smashed out while I was at work. Some drunk local took a huge rock and smashed it out.
I couldn't get pictures of the original damage because it was dark and my camera's flash doesnt work. This is what is left after I got done removing the rest of the shattered window. I still have yet to clean it out of the back.
Funny thing is, although I am really mad that someone would be so inconsiderate to do something like this for no reason. I find I like the rear window gone in a way and It has caused me to possibly take a completely different route to replace it.
a few pics here....
So for a temporary solution I am going to use a clear shower curtain and some duct tape.
However I am considering leaving the rear window out and replacing it with a canvas type window that I can roll up and down and secure it down with snaps or tie it up and open with bungie cords or something.
Who knows what I will end up doing. Depends on what I can afford I suppose.

funny you say that. The window was smashed but nothing was grabbed. Also, no matter what window you have .... if someone wants to take something in a "smash n grab" well they will just smash and grab plastic or glass, they will smash it. Same goes for someone wanting to steal the Jeep.

well. If you can figure up shipping to 27948 and let me know a total I am interested. It will be a while before I have any money though. Payday is a ways off so take your time .

Yeah I can smell them sometimes but most of the time the wind is blowing it away. And I don't drive far to and from work anyway only about 4 miles. I am as careful as I can be though.

I had a Cavalier a few years ago and someone smashed ALL but one of my windows on new year's day.
You could see the shape of a golf club on the windshield. It was not a very happy new year!
