Buying this!
I am probably going to buy this. Well given its sitting in my dads garage its more like absolutely going to buy it unless something is really wrong with it. A few questions though. Its a Florida jeep so no rust EXCEPT the rear part of the roof is bad. The rest of the roof is solid but I am a little concerned about it. Other minor stuff.
Its a 94 Cherokee, 2 door, 4x4, manual, straight 6, and only 155k miles. He wants 750 for it so its a good deal.
Sorry about making them attachments its late and tomorrow I will probably edit them to be uploaded from flickr. Have any of you seen this problem with the roof before and what do you think.

Honestly the pictures make it look worse. The immediate area around the spot is actually solid like its just a fault in the metal in those two places. Its just those two spots and they aren't even one big spot. The one in the middle is not that bad. Otherwise its in pretty good shape minus the dent in the side where someone hit him in a parking lot.

definitely buy it. especially if it turns out to be in good mechanical shape, thats a steal. and for the rust, grind it out until its all gone, prime the bare metal, and then either bondo, fiberglass it, or put new sheet metal in. it should be alright

You buy it, and I'll trade ya a 4 door for it. lol. No rust issues at all. But I wouldn't worry about it, but will say its an odd place for rust? Wonder if there was an old floormat or sumthin sittin on the back for a long time.

I was sure someone was going to say something about a chop top. Its going to be my DD and I will be transporting pastor's kids to school because it is right next to the college. But that would be one way to get rid of the rust.

Yep, chop top would be sweet! Or chop half and see if you can get a soft top fabricated for the rest, I imagine there are shops there in florida who can swing that. Put some big flares and mudders on it and it will look a little like a new 4 door rubicon.

I have actually never seen a chop top here in Florida. Everybody just drives wronglers. I am really not a huge fan of them anyway. Plus this will be my first vehicle that I have bought and it will be in my parents driveway and I doubt they want a chop top sitting there.

Yeah I drove it today and thought it was great. I really like the manual. It has a power steering leek but I am 90% sure its one of the hoses. There was an engine oil leak but it was just a loose filter so I tightened it. I also found a rust hole in the front pasenger floorboard but all of the other ones are perfect. It needs some work but I am almost for sure going to buy it. It also needs new tires but for 750$ you get what you pay for.
