Bushwacker flares with 3 inch lift.
Im missing a fender and was checking into getting the bushwacker cut out flares. My problem is i have a 3 inch lift and run 31x10.50 tires with 15x8 wheels and 4 inch backspacing. I hate the look when a fender is too big for the set-up and dwarfs the tires. I am curious if my tires and lift would look funny with the bushwackers almost as if the flares were too big with my set-up. Is there any alternatives that would look great with the tries and lift I have.all help is greatly appreciated. Pics of the same set-up would be great too.

I had bushwackers with 10.5 and 4" backspacing on 35's. Looked fine from the side but i didn't like the look from the front or back at all. Definately made the jeep look smaller and stuck out farther than the tires. I had to get wheel spacers to make the bushwackers look proper. I personally do not like the look of TJ flares but i know rusty's offroad sells a set that doesnt stick out as far. Also there is a build somewhere on the forums where bushwackers were trimmed so that they would not stick out as far. Looked good imo.

I put my bushwackers on when I had 3" lift and 31s - they are definitely too big for those. I had 3.5" backspace, though, and that seemed to help. I only had it that way because I was soon after doing a lift, axle swap, and tire biggening
You could get some of the smaller Bushwackers or some Rusty's flares. I believe many states have a full coverage rule - I know Utah does. The tire is not supposed to stick out at all beyond the fender coverage. It is rare to get pulled over for a minor violation, but it could hold you up when safety inspection time rolls around.
