Default Buckshot Mudders... Where can I buy???

From Gateway Tire, not Maxxis.

I cant find a place that sells these.
Some say this place www.ok4wd.com sells them, but I cant find them anywhere on their site?!?!

Anyone know a place that sells these?

I can not find the Gateway Buckshots. I guess if they want to sell them and are still in business they need to get a web site up.

I looked at the Federals online, and they have a good looking tread pattern. Don't know what the side walls are like or the rubber compound. I will be taking a look at them when I am looking for tires for the Cherokee though. It would be nice if they had a web site like Interco or Tire Rack that gave the specs of each tire.

I read ALOT about them before i got them, and from what i've seen the only thing about them is they run a little bit narrow, not much but I mean they are made in Taiwan or something like that where they have ALOT of mud, and thin cutters are great for sloppy stuff. I read somewhere that mostly the reason you dont see more people running them is because they just came here not too long ago and havent been around long enough for word to get around. And I didnt really believe that until I noticed that after I got them, at least 5 more trucks around town got them as well. And my dad said he liked them so much that thats what he's getting for his yota.....and he doesnt skimp on his yota. He just spent $1,300 on a 2 inch OME lift to go with his ARB bull bar and winch...... so i figured they HAVE to be good if he likes them lol

Sorry got to rambling again
The Federals are great tires, for trails, mud and moderate rocks i think they would be great. But if you do alot of hardcore rocks and stuff then I dunno if i would get them, dunno what the sidewalls are rated for. They seem to be wearing good at around 30-35 psi, although it seems i may need to air the rears down by a few psi as they're giving a little bit smaller of a footprint with the chalk test.....not sure why. Not too loud at all, they're more quiet than the geolander A/T's on my dads yota, but they are a little dryrotted of course. Grip real good, although i dont have anything to compare them too other than my bald 235 wrangler street tires.

WOW that was a long post, I really need to quit doing that lol

Seems that Gateway may have been bought by Denman which was bought by Titan. Titan does not offer anything even close to streetable.

Gateways haven't been made in a few years and if you do find some they are old stock. I used to run them and loved them but now the closes thing you'll find is a bias TSL or COOP Mud Spur the latter being much cheaper.

Good luck on finding an original Gateway buckshot. The Co-Op grip spurs are very close but damn, you can by Super Swampers for cheaper then they want for them. Might search around over on Pirate for someone who might have a set for sale.. they do float around every now and then.
