Yup that's definitely broken alright.

Do some fabricating, and you can remedy that.

any ideas? everything I think of or find is 1k bucks. looking to just get buy for one weekend of wheeling in a moderate atmosphere

Clean it up real good with a sand wheel so you don't have a lot of rust, put down some new metal, weld that down, use a grinder to smooth everything out, then put some reinforcement brackets under there would be my recommendation.

if that collapsed that much, there's nothing left to weld a reinforcement plate or new hanger to - it's gone, like..gone gone. I'm not one to say it's not worth saving, but in this case i have to say you need to start looking for another jeep. There's no coming back from that sort of unibody deterioration (and i'm sure the rest doesn't look much better) - the structural integrity is gone.

starting to agree that it may just be time to buy a new rig for a grand or so. and then right off the bat put as much metal on it as I can and then start with a long arm and then do a coil conversion to the rear. and not worry about busting as much stuff huh
