I did the cheapy Sylvania from the local auto parts store - huge improvement.
It was around $30 for the pair - they work fine and are a huge improvement over what I had.
That being said, although I have no complaints, I wish I would have spend a bit more and got something that is maybe a little better - maybe the AutoPals that I have read so much about...
Thanks,
Bill

I did the LMC harness upgrade and bulb replacement at the same time, but I am sure the harness contributed quite a bit to the improvement.
I would think the silverstars would be even better but I have never used them.

Use the harness with the stock bulbs and see how you like em. It'll be a huge improvement. If you still want them to be better, search eBay for Autopal 200mm housings. They get nothing but great reviews here

I have the h4 wiring upgrade and the silverstar sealed beam head lights. it was a improvement but like a lot of other things its exaggerated. I would say its a 20% improvement over stock. If you really want to see a big improvement I would get the autopal head lights. You can get them off amazon.

I have the Putco harness with the sealed beam Silverstars. It was a massive improvement over stock for me, but that can be faulted to cheap previous lights as well. For versatility, the H4 Autopal's seem to be an excellent choice, because, obviously, you can put whichever H4 bulb you want in it; however, I have no complaints about the Silverstars, and they were quite reasonably priced. I got mine on Amazon.
