They're cheap, sure - but has anyone tried one and did it fit? I'm not really interested in the claims of increased horsepower. I just want something that will last better than the original exhaust manifold
Does anyone have any recommendations for an after market header?

I like the flex pipe on the ends. Helps prevent premature cracking.

Alotta guys suggest a few name brands, however being over seas it may be a challenge.

thats a stock header,all jeep xjs came wit that same one except 90 or older

Actually a lot of them didn't have this type of manifold. My 91 didn't. Its pretty common to use this style after yours cracks, thats what the flex pipe does.

MY 96 DIDNT HAVE THE FLEX BUT MY FRIENDS 96 PARTS JEEP DID ITS A FACTORY MANIFOLD BECAREFUEL IT WILL NOT FIT THE NEWER STYLE HEAD I THINK 97 ON UP THE EXHAUST PORTS ARE DIFFERENT I FOUND THIS OUT THE HARD WAY PUT A 96 HEAD ON AN 2001 BLOCK NOW IM CHANGING THE WHOLE EXHAUST SET UP ITS A B!t@h

I think that type was stock on 99+ Grands, anything else it was an aftermarket option.
