I prefer White letters out. But if you might be planning on selling your XJ, in the near future. Put Black walls out, and just before selling, flip them around. To the nice (un-scuffed up) white letter side.....................................JMO!

Black wall out looks better IMO but it really depends on the rigs color and your wheels....

White letters out makes the vehicle look like it is going faster than it really is, that can get some unwanted attention from Officer Friendly when you roll through a stop sign. I like black out.

black walls out. Once you go through a mud hole the white walls will no longer be white..especially if you wait a little while before cleaning the mud off of them. First time you rub against a rock....no more white wall.

I put the white letters out on my Dodge P/U but If I had it to do over I would to black out. The white letters are a PITA to Keep looking good. JMO!
