Best wheel/tire set up for OME lift?
I am looking to see which Jeep wheels are the best for a 97+ XJ as far as tire sizing and looks. I'm going to be running an Old Man Emu 3 inch lift and am thinking about going with Jeep Ravine wheels or 97+ XJ Classic wheels but need sizing info so I can look for tires and also what tires.
The Jeep will be a 97+ XJ but I don't know if a sport, classic etc
-3 inch OME lift for sure
What would be the ideal tire and tire size for daily driving and off roading? It will be more of a daily than an off roader but will see plenty of outdoorsy activity.
I was thinking of staying away from BFG All-Terrains, they seem to get too gummed up by mud and snow but I want an A/T tire for sure.
Thought of:
Goodyear Dura-trac
Grabber A/T
But haven't looked into much else, I had Toyo Open Country A/T on my last lifted XJ and loved the look but I'm not sure they were a very good A/T tire. I don't want to run anything bigger than a 31 but don't know what size specifically with those wheels and the application.
