........workin' on the XJ. New A/C compressor, hose assembly/manifold, dryer/accumulator, liquid line/orifice tube, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, water pump (with brass 5/8" hose barb X 3/8" NPT), fan clutch, tranny cooler and a PowerTrax No-Slip locker in the rear.:thumbsup: Kiddo's home from school, we're tired and I'm broke.............(again).

In case you're wonderin', the fan clutch on the left is stock......the clutch we installed (as an experiment and fits perfect with stock rad) is a HD unit for a '79 model 350 Chevy Caprice (police). Sitting in traffic yesterday, new A/C chillin' (99F ambient), ScanGauge peaked at 197F.:headbang:

Where did you get your AC parts?

Compressor, dryer and liquid line from O'reilly Auto Parts. Hose assembly/manifold from Autozone. Just under $500 parts and another $80 to have a shop pull a vacuum and charge it up.

Thanks! I have not made my mind up about the AC system yet, I may change it over to OBA. Michigan climate is no where near what you have in TX so AC is not really a must, only a heater. haha. The work looks good, bet your excited to have ICE cold air!

Yep, cold a/c is good.
