Bedliner Paint Jobs
I live in Minnesota and my XJ has somewhat reluctantly become my daily driver. I love her but I don't want her to turn into a rust bucket. In a couple years I was considering doing a complete Bedliner paint job but am curious if any other members who have done have this have had any regrets or tips they would care to pass along.

I think the key to any paint job is prep. I bedlined my roof bc of surface rust issues 2 years ago and its held up great. But if there is any spots that need attention and you bedline over it, it will rust faster then you will ever see it.

I'm on the middle of sanding rust and bedlining, and yes, it worths every penny you put in it, but it's a pain in the neck, as it said, preparation is key, you have to degrease every part, sand, remove bolts, then primmer and the bed liner paint, i'm doing it part by part, making sure I don't leave uncovered spots. Also, spend some money in getting a good one, the cheap rubbery ones tend to get water somehow and hide the rust.
