Back Door is stuck shut. Help!

Guys, Like the title says the back door is completely stuck. I have pulled on, pushed on it, kicked it, etc. I can't see if something is stuck in there like a twig or a bolt, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing. has anyone had this problem before?

I had to pull some of the trim off from the inside to get at the stuff.

You'll have to remove the door panel and work on it from inside the door. PITA.

metal hatch? it isnt stuck. hit it with the side of your fist right next to the handle as you pull it open. the latch gets messed up, common issue. i havent fixed mine yet.

I was removing my rear bumper anyways. You can unbolt the lower catch once the bumper is removed.

Otherwise you have to try and remove the rear hatch panel. To fix it usually its just an adjustment. My hatch would not work at all and by adjusting it inside the hatch. It works perfectly.

lean down on that little lip above the license plate and below the rear wiper, and then pull on the latch. thats what i have to do with mine

Yeah, I have tried pulling and pushing, hitting it and all those thing. Im glad it a common problem. I'm gonna try and remove the bumper this weekend and see if that unlocks it. Thanks guys.

Mine was stuck when I first got it. I could push the button and hear it click, but couldn't pull it open. Then one day while driving, it came open. The problem was the grease got old and stiff. I sprayed it down with brake cleaner to get rid of the old grease. Then, put some white lithium spray grease to lube it.
