I just got my '98 XJ a few months ago and I'm not to happy with the automatic "T-handle" shifter. Any ideas? I was thinking about using a shifter from an older Grand Cherokee. I want something that feels more comfortable handling when I'm shifting into gear.

i've used them from an older grand cherokee. the zj ones fit right on perfectly, but i find them quite large so i went back to a newer xj handle on my renix.

There's grenades, rocks, baseball balls, etc

I put a WJ shifter in my '98. All you need to do is cut down the WJs metal rod to fit.

I've seen the "Drake Off-road" automatic shift knobs for the Wranglers. Anybody know if they will they fit on an XJ?
