Aussie diff lock fitment
So I was looking on craigslist and there is an Aussie locker for a Dana 35. the guy said he bought it for a 95 wrangler. will this locker work on my 2001 Cherokee? I know that my Cherokee has a Dana 35 i just don't know if the gears are right. Thanks.

I think that as long as both are D35s and have the same carrier (I think 3.73:1 is the ratio cut off but not sure) then yes it will work

Are you 100% sure your 2001 has a D35? Unless someone switched it, I bet you have the 8.25.

Check out the spartan lockers, myself and a handful of others have them. I feel they have little design elements that make them better than the aussie. Pretty darn easy to install and perform well.

And what would those be? I have been looking at them and had settled on the aussie but im not dead set. What makes the spartan better?

Spartan uses small "pins" to keep the locking lugs in place while you install it, then you remove them and the lugs snap into place. They are very similar designs and im sure perform very similarly. Just small attention to detail is what sold me on the spartan.
Heres some comparisons
