ARB Bull bar Bumper and Q9000 Winch
Ok so I just ordered my new ARB Bull Bar winch Bumper and my new Q9000 winch for my 99 XJ. Now that I have have ordered them and they are on their way to my house I was reading and noticed that the only comparable winches are basically WARN. I just don't get why that's the only brand that will fit. Seeing that mounting points at all the same and they all generally have the same dimension. Will my Q9000 work with my ARB bumper Is what I am asking. Not how everyone on this forum thinks that Warn is the better winch. Thanks everyone.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. I just was kinda wanting to know what to expect when it got here. I guess what had me concerned was I read a couple of threads about how people got super winch And mile marker and they wouldn't fit right. I'm just trying to make sure everything is going to work right sense im bolting around $1500 on the front of my jeep.

Yeah I have been thinking about that. I have seen where people are turning the clutch to the bottom cause everything is so tight and I don't know if I like that.

I had an ARB bumper and a Ramsey winch and it fit fine. Like the others said, you could always return it. I guess you won't really know until you try to put it together.
Just a tip... I don't know if the ARBs come with more unibody support or not these days but If it only mounts with the only the 3 stock holes (mine did), you should invest in/make some unibody tie-ins. I ripped my ARB off while getting towed and it crunched the entire fender on the opposite side.

Oh wow. That sucks. I'll keep that in mind. I so a video on YouTube where that happened to someone but they yanked the strap with a good but of speed. So I wasn't quite sure what to think of the situation.

Is a Q9000 winch from quadratec? If so I'd recommend giving them a call they probably know if it would fit, if not maybe they could find out.
