Anyone have Glassworks Unlimited fenders?
I want a set of the Glassworks fiberglass fenders for my Jeep, but I really want some more info about how hard/easy they are to mount, durability, or just general knowledge about them. I'm going for a kind of poor mans KOH buildup with my XJ, and these look like they would work great. I dont like the flattop look of the Rusty's or Hannemans fenders, and the 6'' flare is too much for me.
Heres some pics if you dont know what they are...

I did the lower quarter cut on mine, I love it. But how does it affect the front fenders?
And this is my XJ by the way...

I mean that fender from gw is very high and looking at the back fender being normal it may look funky, oh and how hard was the cut? You weld or pop rivet

OH!! ok lol Ya it might look a little weird, but no weirder than when some guys cut the fronts way high. And I plan on cutting+reweleding my rear pinch seem as high as I possibly can for maximum uptravel in the whoops.
A little , lol but I just riveted my rear quarters. I want to weld them up someday to be a little stronger, and less prone to leak. Ill do that whenever I get really bored, or end up with the money to strip it all down and repaint it.

By the way. Your Jeep looks gnarly, it looks like its ready for anything. You have armor on the front, rockers and rear quarters and then you got rear bumper armor to protect the quarter armor. Why do you want to make the fenders 100x weeker than they are? If you need flares you need flexible flares. The fiberglass fenders are like those fiberglass bodykits that coolkids put on their Hondas. Everytime you hit a curb you need to get out to check if its still there.

Haha thanks man!! I've been wanting making it as durable as I can to take on any obstacle. I've heard that the fiberglass fenders are pretty thick and have a good amount of flexibility to them. I wouldn't really ever get them but in order for my XJ to be legal here in England it needs to have full tire coverage.
I think they are gunna look pretty sweet, and give it the prerunner look I want. Not right now, but I plan on running a tube between the front bumper and rocksliders that follow along the edge of the flare with a few supports tubes going to the inner fender.
P.S.- For the rear I have my buddy making a set of tube flares between the bumper and sliders

Its actually being shipped right now, so its on a boat somewhere lol But I found out a few days ago that I will need to have full tire coverage to be legal So I think Im going to order the Glassworks fenders for the front and while im getting the rear tube flares set up im hoping to borrow a set of rear TJ flares.
On a side note... I CANT WAIT TO DRIVE IT/GO 4WHEELIN HERE!!!!!!
