Anyone else have something non related brake every time they fix something else?

Maybe I just have luck, but on top of the expected casualties (brake lines snap doing hoses ), every time I touch any thing something else stops working. Replace a shock, test drive and brake lights out. Change oil, radio stops working, just did ball joints and now have a headlight out. Think my Jeep hates me....

Its just a rule. I found that if you find something that needs fix but you can manage without fixing it... It stop the cycle.

Maybe somebodies watching out for you. Like, if you weren't busy fixing your Jeep you were about to get hit by a bus or something. :balloon:

i figured it out if you upgrade some thing every week she wont break

ehracing67 02-22-2012 10:48 PM

Mine works from vehicle to vehicle. Just when ones done, one of the others break. Thats why one sits alot of the time.

Lol Sometimes I believe my Jeep just doesnt like being in working order. I fixed my turn signal switch and my wheel rear wheel cylinders go out. I replaced those and a fuel injector started failing. When I fixed that my radiator mysteriously busted going down the road... that one still confuses me. I fixed that and crank sensor went out... My '95 is now sitting until I can go over it with a fine toothed comb... Sometimes I wonder if it would have been better using hand signals then fixing the switch... Good news? As long as things bring and I fix them before long the Jeep will pretty much be completely refurbished...

The above mentioned posts are a fine selection of putting in words what Jeep ownership actually means, lol. And we're all part of it.
Its a relationship that needs continuous maintenance, reflection...love and hate make it work ;). And every now and then, the Jeep works. And when that happens, you're driving around with an inner smile.

I have nothing to add to this, except that it makes me feel so much better about my own situation... We are not alone! LOL
