I'm not really fond of it. Under those lower panels is rust it looks like. Can't imagine underneath. And im always skeptical of the ads that say hunting special. Why just hunting? Idk just sounds fishy hahah

Keep looking, theres better deals to be had. Has fender/door/rocker damage. The body gaps on that front door are definitely off/sagging, indicates hinge pillar or actual hinge damage.

Depends if the interior is nice and if it has no rust then i would buy that. The door damage is from someone opening the door too far and the door stay didn't stop it.I would take a fender and maybe a door to fix that.

The bottom of the fender behind the flare is bent up, definitely not from the door opening too far and breaking the door check. That damage is from an upward impact.

Didn't 1997+ receive updated body stylings?

I'd drive it around for $1500. You can't get much for cheap, but I'd check for rust as well.

1. That's not a 97

2. Not a good sign when people dump money on maitanance right before selling. That's what flippers do.

3. Rust

4. Body is nasty.

I'd pass it looks like it's been used a lot in its life. Imo looks like a $900-1000 jeep.

If you go look at it consider everything said. If the front end looks like it has ever been hit, be leery that the front frame rails has been weakened. And also check the frame for to much rust that would make it useless for building up a trail rig. Rust on the rockers or floor pans are fixable, but the uni-body frame is another thing all together. I have bought two used XJ's in that condition for $1k. (With out the rusted up underbody)
