Default adding spacers to already lifted jeep?

hey all got a question for ya

im thinking of adding either 2 inch or 3 inch spacers to my 4.5in rouch country lift it has short arms and rc hydro 8000 shocks...dose anyone think i would have to make any more mods to add these or is what i have enough?

i think you will need long arms

2" max on the spacers. but you need new short arms or to adjust your current ones. Or drop brackets!!!

but 6.5" on a short arm is not to bad. long arm or drop brackets would be prefered but not needed

Brackets will be cheaper but long arm will perform better, it all now depends on your budget.

well i dont seem to see any drop brackets for a zj on the net so i might just have to get long arms lmao...im gonna drop in on my local 4x4 shop and talk to them to see if they have any in store

on a ZJ they would only be for the front.... the rear wont have any. and the front ones would be for an XJ. long arms are no arms! lol.

btw see what they say for the tallest you can go on a short arm lift is.


also you need to then look at trackbars and driveshafts
