ac clutch wont engage, newbie help

Default ac clutch wont engage, newbie help

Put in new ac compressor and the clutch will not engage, replaced fuse
and relay, we are at a loss, is there an inline fuse we do not know about,
oh my lord....help

Did you add R134 to it?
There is a pressure switch in the line or on the dryer if it senses no pressure it will not kick on.
You can check the switch with a jumper wire and bypass it temp.

Probably best to take it to a professional, one can destroy a perfectly good (and expensive) compressor without really trying.
