97 grand cherokee
 

hello. i have a 1997 grand cherokee and i was told that the rear diff clutches have gone ? it made a loud bang when reversing and now hardly moves. i was told that i can disconnect rear diff so it only drives front wheels??? is this true. please help..thanks.
