Default Is the '89-'99 cherokee safe for a baby car seat?

Hello, I am about to have my first kid, also about to buy a new vehicle. I used to own a wrangler and LOVED it but, this time around I am looking at a cherokee. I want any model in the years of late 8p's to late 90's but with the lack of head rest in the back seat my concern is if itll be safe for a baby seat or if i should just get a little newer model. Thank you!

headrest won't matter for a baby seat. All the car seats you'll buy for the next 8 years will have their own headrests built in.

For the first kid, put the car seat base in the middle spot with the lap belt. Cinch it down good and tight. Kiddo will be fine.
