31x10.50 on a stocker. Pics.
I got tired of my 31s sitting in my utility room, so I was bored and decided to throw them on. Yes, the do rub on the rear part of the inner fender up front. I also trimmed up the front end caps too. I have a 2" BB that I may throw on it next week or I may say **** it and trim the damn thing.
Tires are 31x10.50R15 Kumho KL71. Wheels are Cragar Silver Soft 8, 15x7 w/ 4" Backspacing.
Before w/ 30x9.50 Goodyear GS-A.
Rear tires on.
Front tires on.

Yeah, I'd say that if you have the flares removed and especially the inner fender liner that you will be okay.

Not really. I ran 32s and 33s on a 2.25" BB with trimming and proper bump stops with no rubbing. I know what works, I'm just a little uncertain on what route to take. Either trimming or a 2" BB with proper bump stops will accomplish the same thing I am after.

Why go 2 inch bb?
If you have tools, a drill and know someone who can weld. you can do a 3'' lift for next to nothing.
I bought a set of s10 leafs off CL for 40$, spent 42$ on new ubolts , centerbolts and hardware. Mix and matched bang, 3 or maybe a little bit more of lift, then I made my own coil spacer for the front.
You can either relocate your stock shocks of spend like 150$ and have some 3 inch lift shocks shipped, either way its cheap
just my .02

But, I can say this...working on my last XJ w/ 2.25" lift was much easier than crawling around under a stocker.

Oh and by not lifting it, I don't have to worry about vibes, dropping the t-case or the mis-aligned front axle. Yes, I know I wouldn't be much. I'm trying to keep things simple for the moment.
