Default 265/75/16 Maxxis Buckshots

so i just recently got a set of basicaly brand new maxxis buckshot for free and i got a 3 inch lift will they fit okay or if any one has a pic of a jeep with similar lift/tire set up

265/75/r16's measure out to be 31.5". 31's fit fine on a 3" lift and I've even seen 31's on a 2" lift so you should be fine. Might need to trim the front plastic a tad but otherwise you should be fine. If you disconnect the sways and really stuff them they might rub.

Edit: this is also assuming you are using the stock wheels.

you should be fine with some minor trimming.

on a side note, i just went through all your posts to make sure you werent from western ky because i too had an almost brand new set of 275/65-16 maxxis mudders give to me, but he gave them away to someone else before i could pick them up.

no im getting them from my brother off his grand cherokee with a 3 inch lift and they fit fine without trimming

Here is my old Jeep, its a 3 inch lift and in this pic it has 31x10.5
the fenders are also trimmed..


here you can see with the fenders trimmed I have plenty of room for flexing

yes and no lol Yes they were the stock axles (dana 30 up front and 8.25 in rear) however the previous owner had welded the rear end, so it was locked but everything else was stock

the tires will work just fine. theyre almost the same as a 31x10.5 except metric measurement. and obviously you cant use them on your stock wheels because they need a 16" rim, so you will have to get new wheels for the maxxis tires.

no i have stock jeep whells that are 16" cause i have the 2000 cherokee classic so im all good there
