2001 5 Speed manual trannied XJ!

Alright. So I finally found the XJ of my dreams. The dreams Ive had for over 6 years. Its an 01 Hunter Green, 4 wheel drive, 5 Speed(oh so rare)manual transmission Cherokee for $7999. I only have $3400, so I thought id pass this dream on to you all, since I know there are many others out there who want this same Jeep. The salesman said this is proabally the only Cherokee like this for sale right now in the world, and I told him he is right on. Ive only found one other 01 Manual Cherokee in the Patriot Blue, which sold only hours before i found out about it. And I had the money then. This current manual trannied 01 Cherokee is in Ashland, Virginia at C.L.Hyman Auto sales. I found it on EBay, and there you can get the dealers phone number. I talked to them yesterday, but i dont think that Beautiful, Beautiful Jeep will be there for long. Good Luck to any of you who try to get it. I hope whoever gets it will appreciate it, maby not like I would, maby more. Ya never know!

$7999 is a lot for a 2001 Cherokee.

Not for a 5 speed, 1 owner well maintained vehicle with 108,900 miles. Well, maby a little much, but if you can find one cheaper, I would definately like to know.

HEH! I tried too look up the value of an 01 on KBB.com and they dont even have an manual tranny option for that year. Must be really rare.

There was a manual transmission made for the 2001 XJ. That was very rare. Wish I had a manual in my 2001 XJ. :wallbash:

I still prefer my '91 with 67k, and automatic. Along with all the bells, whistles of a Limited. According to this site ( http://www.xjjeeps.com/tech_referenc...section=2&ID=0 ) with a 2001 Parts manual catalog. There was a manaul trans. offerd.

i'd pay more for a '99 5-speed, than a 2001 5-speed. and by more i mean about $4500. you can get 2 97+ XJ's for $8000 and still have enough left over for a new set of tires for both.

Its the rarity of the 2001 manual trannied XJ that I love. And its the last of The Best. Yah, I have two manual XJs right now. A 4 speed $ banger 84 and a 5 speed H.O. 4.0 96. But its that elusive 01 manula i want
