2000 Cherokee won't go past 1000-1500rpm

2000 Cherokee won't go past 1000-1500rpm
2000 Cherokee 115000 original miles broke yesterday, all of sudden won't run past 1000-1500 rpm.Misses ,backfires...CrawlefdCrawlefd home at 15-20mph.No vacuum leak,no furl pump problem. Out of town fellow Jeep neighbor followed to new shop.Throws multiple codes miusfiring ,nothing pinned down. maybe distributerless module? Unplugged still ran,can idle smooth, but throttle up she misses, bacfires stalls and dies. Help!

Codes provided by shop are:300,301,302.Mechanic at NAPA shop now believes failed coil pack.Makes sense, enough juice for idle not enough for off idle.

P0301-Misfire cylinder 1
P0302-Misfire cylinder 2
So you came on here for what then? You basically did no diag work and it's at the shop being repaired? If you weren't going to do the work yourself what was the point? I'm genuinely curious

Lol well if I had a jeep come into my garage for diag and I have it down to the coil being bad and the customer comes back saying its got to be this other part because the interwebs told him so, I'd back his jeep out and tell him to have the interwebs fix it then.
