1998 xj over heats with mods

I pucker if i see rpms over 1500 cause i know the temps will shoot strait up. But i did do a test. With the fans on and idle set to 1500 not moving the truck stays at 210f no problem. Now if i have the fans on and doing 60mph at 1500rpm it sits at 225f

So the cooling system isn't doing it's job or the engine is producing so much heat that a good cooling system can't keep temps down. Hmm. Was the single row radiator you used new?
