1996 ZJ alignment

so the jeep pulls to the right pretty good. what are the common front end causes and should I do a two wheel or 4 wheel alignment?

i always recomend a 4 wheel alignment.. although i have yet to do one on my xj (dont know how many adjustments there is in the back) just seems logical to do the 4 wheel, because face it.. tires are damned expensive.

you can not do a 4 wheel alignment on it unless it has aftermarket adjustable control arms. there is no adjustment on the rear if they are stock. It may not even be an alignment issue could be a front caliper sticking or even a rear brake sticking causing the jeep to pull. Check into all of that before you go and get an alignment done and that does not fix your problem!

most alignment computer systems don't allow for an accurate reading of the thrust line if you select "2 wheel alignment" from the menu screen. By doing the 4 wheel alignment, the program in the system allows for the "live rear toe reading, and thrust angle calculation" which results in a more accurate total alignment. Additionally if there is a camber angle or excessive thrust angle, it allows you to address the problem area which could help by pointing you in the direction of why "left rear tire wears more than the rest?" type of questions.
