1996 Sport dash LED bulb sizes?

I have my dash torn apart for a stereo install and I figured I should do the LED conversion now. I have been searching for the last hour or so and I cannot find exactly what bulbs I need. I have read every post on every Jeep forum and none list exactly how many of each I need for my 1996 XJ. I have also looked on superbrightleds.com and they list a few models of bulbs for the 194's and 74's. Do I want wedge, multi LED, single LED? Some posts say 10 194's, some say 5 74's.

Does anyone know exactly what model/size lights I need to replace all of the cluster lights and the trans shift/4wd lights?

Thanks!

The instrument cluster backlight uses 5 194 bulbs. I believe the high beam indicator and turn indicators are also 194 bulbs. The indicators in the indicator panel are one 74 bulb each. The heater control and accessory switches use one 74 bulb each.

Ok, but which model of lights for each? Wedge, single LED, multi LED?

There are 21 choices for #194 bulbs in white

I say save yourself the time and money of doing it twice and buy yourself a kit from Sanjo on here. That's what I just did and I'm super happy. He has experimented with many different bulbs and combinations and really knows what's best. Plus his prices and service are unbeatable. He will set you up with either an instrument set or one for the whole car.

Do I just PM him or does he have a thread? How much for his setup?

Either or. I'd just recommend PMing him though. The prices vary and I have a 99 so I'm not sure.
