1987 xj cherokee - they jeep dont make automatic shifter cables anymore

after 3 weeks looking for an automatic shifter cable for a 1987 cherokee loredo 4.0 automatic i joined this forum and found another jeep guy who had the automatic shifter cable - when i called jeep they said they dont make them anymore - WTF not even aftermarket ??; its crazy- the guy im buying it from is from Puertorico - youd think itd be easier hes asked $75. i sent $100. through paypal. i just want to get this project off the ground, the vehicle runs strong and its cosmetically challenged outside (interior is clean & new looking ) i intend to start bodywork tomorrow, sand, primer and an off road racer looking paintjob. anyone recommend a 3 in1 welder to buy ?? - i figure i need at least 270 amp one
