1985 Wagoneer
Can anyone tell me what the value would be for a 1985 Wagoneer Limited. This is not a Grand Wagoneer, it is the Cherokee body Wagoneer. It is in good condition and driveable but not great condition. I want to sell but I have no way to place a value on the vehicle. Is there a demand for these?

They should price around the same as a regular Cherokee. You can try pricing high, but not everyone wants a wood grain vehicle, and most people don't care about it being a Waggy.
|
Let me add, being an '85 is also a strike to it in some people's mind. 1984-86 xj's are the bastard children.
|
Well that explains a lot about my 1985.

I'd love to have one, but even though I love them (even the 84-86) and recognize their uniqueness/rarity, I'd never pay extra for one. All that uniqueness just adds obscurity to finding parts for all the stuff that has doubtlessly been neglected over the years. I'd never pay more that I'd pay for any other XJ. And yeah, no matter how nice it is, an 84-86 is destined for an engine swap because that 2.8 V6 is garbage.

Post some pictures its hard to say with out seeing it.Like said most dodge the early years because of the gm 2.8 v6 used.

85 Waggy... Does it have the System Sentry on the dash?
