Default 14.50"s...

I ran up on a deal and ahalf today on some like brand new 35x14.50 Boggers on 15x10 Mickey Thompson wheels. Im not much on these 10" wide wheels so for those who have ever ran 14.50"s on an XJ, what width wheel did you run and what back spacing?.

i am on 33x14.00 boggers and 15x10" wheels, i love this combo, the 8" wide wheels are not recomended by Interco for this wide of a tire..

I personally love 10" wide wheels. they make 12.50"s look much beefier.. let alone 14 or 14.50

and depending on backspace, the downside can be, your tires stick out much farther (i like this personally) so it has a wider stance witch might require Flares/mudflaps and this combo is a little harsh on balljoints..

Now another upside is, with my combo, my Center of gravity is great.. i would rarely admit to being this stupid, but i have done 75mph in a 40mph corner with my front swaybar disco'd and the rig felt very predictable and stable.

wish mine were 35x14.50 :-|

I slapped em on my jeep just for the hell of it.. lol i couldnt get over the stance it has with em on it, inwhich i like alot! looks almost if it had full size running gears under it. im not sure of the backspacing but it looks to be about the same as yours. Honestly i prefer a slimmer wheel, air the tires down and have less worry of breakin the bead with em. Im glad they are 35"s. one thing about the 35x14.50's they are a true 35" tire.

Now its for sure time for the 6 1/2" long arm lift!. Everyone thats seen it says it looks mean. Cant wait to see it when its off the ground about 7 more inches. Oh and dont pay no attention to the roughness of the front bumper, i just started on fab'n it up.

How much lift do you have? I am really thinking about going up to 35x14.50 I love these boggers, i never thought i would but i absolutly love them..

im on 5" of lift with 33"s... i think the 35"s would be perfect

Best tires and sizes ever! You both are making very itchy and I may just have to break the bank to get some!

I ran 14.50's for a while. loved em too but It was my DD at the time and all those street miles wore em down quick. They were on 15x10's with 3.75" BS

Well now i dont feel so if'y about running these tires with the wheels that are on them, except for them being aluminum. Though i may run them a while till i order me some black rocks. And if i was out that way i wouldnt mind seein how they fit on yours. I didnt think id be going with such a big wide tire, but i couldnt pass up the deal on these, the tires got 95% tread and the wheels are like brand new, just a little dirty.

Ha yeah but my Iroks ride like a Caddilac. Also, boggers are for mud. If you get sideways on the rocks (which is all i do), you just slide off. And the Iroks are BIGGER

Ive always heard boggers werent too good on rocks, so thats why i plan on locating me some TSL's for the front and leave the boggers on the back.

pfff they do just fine..if your locked ... (and if all 4 tires are actually on the rims.. you cant see it but the pass-rear lost the valve stem and right when this pic was taken the rear tire dismounted..)
