Default 10.5 tires on 12in rim?

I was thinking on putting 31s on my xj but my stock rims will rub right? And I have a set of 12in wide rims but i don't know if I can mount 10.5s on a 12.. Any ideas?

Yes they will rub. Think about what you are saying with the second part.

If ur right is stock height it will rub. 10.5" tires will work just fine with stock rims, and no they won't work on 12" tires that simple.

Ok thanks guy I was just wondering and yeah I don't want any blow out especially when hours away from home on a trail. And about the stretching thing I only asked because the rims came with some stretched tires on it... And is the rub on LCA real bad or not??

the only thing it would maybe rub on is the lca at full lock. shouldnt rub in the wheels unless you have sagging going on, i know some ppl with 10.5" on stock rims and dont rub the lca's, if you have rims with more backspacing or if you have spacers then you wont rub.
