I would do that but it's sitting between my lift posts lol but good news it took me 3 straps but I got the holes lined back up

Nice work!

All I have ever used is a ratchet strap (or multiple), but I have been lucky and only needed to move it a few inches or so.

Ya mine was pretty far but you would get the one really tight to the point where you couldent get it to move any more and then the same with the other 2

Track Bar

I parked my Dodge Ram 1500 on the drivers side of the XJ, then hooked a comealong to the back bumper of the Dodge to the front suspension of the XJ. I racket the comealong to bring the track bar into alignment.
