Looking at buying a 2001 XJ that is heavily modified, one ton axles, rear coil conversion, 37" tires and a PSC hydrauic assist steering. i have never driven anything with a PSC set up this jeep seems to wander pretty bad. i plan on having the alignment and front end parts checked just. besides making it much easier to steer does the PSC setup affect overall driveability? thanks for any input

PSC assist won’t cause wandering by itself. It just helps turn the big tires. Wandering is almost always from bad alignment, loose track bar, worn joints, or too much caster. Get that checked first. The PSC can hide how loose the front end really feels.
