ok. i just got my hands on 2 12 type r and a 750.1 kicker amp i was wondering if anybody knew how much feet of 0 gauge i would need to run from the front to back. its a 4 door if that makes a difference from the 2 doors. do yall think 25ft of 0 gauge will work.

4 AWG is more along the size of wire you will need. If you want to go overkill then go 2 AWG. Why spend more money??
But to answer your question. 25 feet will be more than enough.

I got a Walmart kit with 17 feet of wire and it should work out just fine. I'm running it along the passenger side to the back. Hopefully hooking it up tomorrow . Strung it all out and looks like it will be fine.

zero gauge???? even the coyote had a smaller size wire when he tried to blow up the road runner.
4 gauge is overkill, but will serve well, if you decide to upgrade your amp later.

Amp wiring kits come with 16ft....4 will work....0 is going to be a bit hard to hide....since the clearance between the plastic molding and body is so small....there is a rubber grommet, up and to the right of the gas pedal a small slice with a razor blade will do the trick....I ran the amp under the back seat...and grounded at the seatbelt bolt....be sure to torque down properly....the type Rs are 1500w peak, if I am not mistaking....are you running sealed or ported enclosure??

4awg wire is perfect... With the stock alternator I would suggest a 1 farad capacitor. Make sure your ground wire is the SAME size as your 4awg power wire and as short as you can make it and still hide well and or look good. Mount the ground wire to BARE metal!!! Scrape paint if you must then seal the ground bolt with silicone to prevent rust of the bare metal. Alpine type R's are great subs and Kicker still makes decent power amps. You haven't skimped on a decent sub section so don't skimp anywhere else ok
Use twisted wire RCA's and run them on the opposite side of the vehicle as you ran the power wire if you can. Don't crank the gain on that sub amp... how many volts does your head unit put out on the rca outputs? If your amp has volt markings on the gain(s) try to match it to the volts that are output by the head unit. I assume that Kicker came with a remote bass ****, if so, adjust the bass with that and your head unit to achieve the volume you want. USE NO LESS THAN 12awg speaker wire for the subs!!! Go for 10awg if you can get your hands on some.
What Ohm's load will your subs be wired to? i.e. 8ohm, 4ohm, 2ohm, 1ohm...? Dual voice coil, single?? What enclosure... Sealed, Ported, band-pass, Isobaric? What mids and highs will you be running?
