I am confused.... my owner's manual says curb weight of 2995 for 2wd and 3065 for the 4wd.
But Car and Driver had a curb weight of 3607 lbs for the 4wd Cherokee !

It didn't even have all the options..... But ironically, it did 0-60 in 8.4.... which is the quickest official time out there for an XJ. I beat my buddy's 1999 Cherokee(goes by the name CBRII on here) 4wd with same miles as my (at the time) stock 2wd Cherokee... Both 4 door auto. But he had hi flow cat and muffler, and I beat him by over a car to 60... So I am thinking the 4wd systems adds more weight than my owner's manual states. So what's the 0-60 ? I would imagine 8 flat/high 7's(for mine at least) because C and D got 8.4 out of vehicle that weighs 400 lbs more than mine.

On dyno's by JP magazine, the percentage of loss in hp used for the percentage in loss for tq equals out to 240 lb ft !
